Terra cotta acids are great for achieving rustic effects. The tree railing is made of steel wrapped with wire and covered with cement. I used a blending technique to achieve the natural color of wood. | ![]() |

| Here's another fabricated rock staining job on a poolscape shown through the phases. The acid stained columns created a handsome contrast to the patio area. The column on the right isn't part of this job, however I placed it here to show the various patterns that I have achieved with my marbling techniques. |

The photographs below show a large job where the customer has two pools, one for children and one for adults. All the handrails and bamboo posts are cement that was fabricated and stained to look like wood.
